The challenge: KCG wanted to grow BondPoint, their automated dark venue for fixed income trading. They needed to develop marketing materials that explained BondPoint’s benefits and attracted clients to participate. This material needed to feel individually dynamic, but seamlessly integrate into KCG’s larger corporate system.
The solve: Diagram the data, use cobalt, add gloss. Patterns of converging dots suggest that BondPoint is a gathering point for trading. In the brochure, blind gloss allows supporting illustrations to provide an interesting backdrop and prioritizes editorial content, and deeply saturated blues punctuate the main interior spread. The limited blue palette and lightweight typography continue throughout print and digital material, uniting the BondPoint suite. Design included: brochures, emails, and sales and event collateral.
